Happy New Year Royals Families!

Softball season is right around the corner and its time to put the call out for coaches.
For all those interested in being a Head/Assist Coach for the upcoming 2020 Royals Softball, coaching forms can be found under the Media tab!

Deadline for applications is January 25th

Royals Families

The Zone 2 (Regina Royals) Annual General Meeting is being held October 22, 2019 at the Regent Family Restaurant on 3823 Sherwood Drive beginning at 7:00 pm.

The following positions on our executive are eligible for election:

Vice President – 2year term
Secretary – 2 year term
Player/Coach Development – 2 year term
Division Coordinator – 1 year term
LTP Rep – 1 year term
Clothing Coordinator – 1 year remaining in a 2 year term
Social Media Coordinator – 1 year term

U16A ROYALS went undefeated in Round Robin Play this last weekend in Prince Albert and undefeated in play-off play until the Final on Sunday. ROYALS played 3 games back to back to back on Sunday. Way to go – Ladies! Well done!


In Friday’s Round Robin Play the Regina Royals REBELS defeated the Watrous Royals 15-9 in 8 innings, then defeated the Swift Current Sonic 12-10 again in 8 innings. Saturday saw Mother Nature step in with rain pushing back many games. Royals Rebels were on diamonds at 7am Sunday. Royals REBELS defeated the Prince Albert Aces 17-2 in 3 innings completing there round robin play. The Royals REBELS were again Victorious defeating the Regina Lazers 18-16 in 8 innings in the Quarter-final. In the Semi-Final the Royals REBELS came up against the Macklin Lakers. Royals REBELS took an early lead, however the Macklin team kept chipping away at that lead. In the 6th inning Macklin took a 9-8 lead. In the top of the 7th Royals Rebels scored 2 more runs to regain the lead. With 2 out in the bottom of the 7th, Macklin scored 2 runs on a good hit to win 10-11. Mother Nature again stepped in with warnings of a tornado, Provincials came to an end. The extremely long hot day and multiple games played a toll on the Royals REBELS, but was a satisfying end to a Season with a 25-3 record. Winning* GOLD* in Moose Jaw at the beginning of June to* BRONZE* at Provincials !


ROYALS REBELS were perfect in Round Robin Play defeating the Moose Jaw Firecrackers 8-1 on Friday Night. Then defeated the P.B Storm 8-4, and the Humbolt Thunder 6-4 on Saturday. In the semi-final game on Sunday morning the ROYALS REBELS defeated the U14A Moose Jaw Ice team 10-8, which set the Gold medal final against the Regina Lazers. ROYALS REBELS never give up and came back from a deficit to triumph over the Lazers defeating them 10-9!
